What are some colors that you think you can’t carry-off at all? It could be clothes or makeup such as eye-shadows and lipsticks?

Brown is so not my color … it makes me look so pale and so dull … brown or nude lipstick shades makes me look so drained :no: .. I run away from brown shades as soon as I come near them 
My shade is red … in anything .. it brings so much freshness to my face … I loe red 
In terms of clothing, I'm lucky as I can wear pretty much any colour and it'll look fine on me. If I had to pick one though, I'd say white would be the colour that I wear the least as it can wash me out slightly, I wouldn't say white looked bad on me though.
My colour is definitely red and I've been told that reds, pinks, corals suit me in particular. Greens and purples also work well with my complexion. I definitely prefer bright colours and jewel toned colours over pastel shades.
In terms of makeup...I don't like brown on my lips as my lips are too pink naturally and it just ends up looking like I have chocolate smeared on my lips. With a nude lip it has to have a slightly pink or peach undertone otherwise I look like death itself.
same here i think i look fine in pretty much every color..personally i dont like pastels..i love bright/vibrant colors..as for makeup i dread frosted lipsticks 
n i’ve never worn a red lippie dunno how it would look on me..

I don't think twice about wearing any colour. I buy things if they look good. I'm sure lots of people do the same.

White, beige, and baby pink clothes make me look like I'm ill. Lipstick..anything too light makes me look washed out, and eyemakeup, I think every color works there. I think black, red, deep purples and turquoise look best on me..I definitely keep color in my mind when purchasing clothing.
I can’t carry-off red lipstick, I did once somehow…but i’m scared of red now. 
I can carry-off most colors, but I don’t think a bright canary yellow or dusty pinks look nice on me.

ive always wanted to try a red lipstick, but i dont think i have the confidence to pull it off. I dont want to attract attention to my full and big lips..lol. I just stick to lip balm/chapstick/vaseline.
I've been told that pinks and blues look good on me. I love bright, and jewelled tone colours for clothes. i dont think pastels would suit me.
for makeup..not sure...i cant put on makeup for the life of me..and the only place where i play with coluor is on my eyelids.

hmm i dont know what color does not suit me.. but i know one color that does suit me coz i got compliments once when i wore shocking pink .

I’m pretty clueless about whether a colour looks bad on me. I tend to gravitate to pastel colours and get compliments when wearing those. But when I do wear jewel-toned colours, no one’s ever told me it doesn’t look good on me - maybe they were being nice

I didn't think I could carry off yellow on my skin tone but I got such a lovely summery yellow dress that I paired with dark denim leggings. I got so many compliments on how good yellow looked.
I can't carry off lipstick. Period. :( I'm a lipgloss, lip stain girl.

Only light pink or purple lipstick looks good one me. As for everything else, all colours suit me. Dark green and black looks the best bc my complexion is a bit on the dark side.
I find that I can pull off lip glosses in all colours though - just not lipstick..

i used to just stick with black dark greens and blues in high school, but then i got really into bright colors. i never thought i could pull of orange, turns our i look awesome in orange, yellow, light green

i do avoid gray not bc i dont look good in it but bc for some reason i get sad when i wear that colour lol

^same here, for some reason- i shy away from gray hijabs, everything else is fine in ANY other color. It kinda becomes a problem because gray is SO widely used in professional clothing but I'm not happy when wearing it. I was also scared of pure white headscarfs but I wore it on eid once, and everyone told me white's my color so I'm wearing it more now :D
I've never done bold colors in makeup- just because i'm a beginner and don't wanna look like minnie mouse. It's mostly chapstick or tinted lipgloss on lips with some natural looking eyelids.
