i prefer dark green with silver... its really crisp (think emeralds in a white gold setting). and maroon with dull gold, i.e. not the super yellow gold.

guess it depends on the type of look u want. With gold it gives a more regal, old world look. With silver is fresh and young:)

^^ I wouldn't say old; I would say traditional. With silver you get more of a modern-contemporary look.
You can certainly get a fresh and modern look with gold aswell.
You can also use combination of two.
It all depends how the design has been laid out and how the colors have been used.

but it also depends what shade of red…
you can always do both…gold and silver..with more gold work than silver

I like the sound of the color choices you've presented. Dark green and maroon are very nice. I'd suggest dark green with silver and maroon with gold. I have a picture too I found.. I'm trying to see if I can post it.. Give me a minute.
Shay, do the deep green with bronze kaam.. seen it on my last trip to Pak and it was VERY pretty.
