I think dark eyes look so much better with pakistani makeup anyway! and coloured contacts look so bizarre on anybody...
no matter how 'natural-looking' contact anybody tires to get...it's OBVIOUS! esp with bridal makeup it looks worse!

my eyes are a light shade of brown slightyly less than hazel but i wear grey contacts n no1 can tell if im wearing contacts or its my real eye color, n yeah colorblends rock!

Wearing contacts on u're big day can be tricky! All the lights can irritate u're eyes and make them red and watery, which leads to smeared eye-makeup!

I use to wear hazel contact lenses before and I wore that on my wedding too... it perks up your eyes if it suits you... whatever you decide make sure your contact lenses are brand new for the wedding - cause the old ones that you have been using do look faded.

Colourblends are the best, I use grey n green, and yes they do look natural, just giv a sparkle to the eye ... :K337: lol

I love colourblend grey but I wouldnt take a risk wearing them on my wedding because I can well imagin how embarrasing it would be if they come out when I m having this ‘‘crying scene’’ at the time of rukhsati (although I have no plans to cry but you never know) :bummer:

I remember one bride I saw, her dress, jewelry, eyes makeup and contacts were all the exact same shade of tealish blue :smack: The sad thing she is a cute girl and would have looked so much better if she didnt have the overkill match, especially the contacts and eyeshadow

i probably WILL wear colored contacts on my wedding. i've had incidences where my clear contacts have gotten stuck to my eye and i almost really hurt my eye by trying to pull it off. so unless i get laser eye surgery by my wedding, which i will hopefully, i'll be wearing colored contacts. it does look really fake sometimes, but some people can pull them off. hopefully i'll be one of those few.

Expensive shoes? jimmy choos or christian louboutin?

i also wear colored contacts. i think they make my eyes stand out since i lyk to emphasize on my eyemakeup it looks even better!
i use the greenish brownish from freshlook and trust me it makes a huge difference !

For the wedding, i wanted to wear brown-color lenses just cz they’d “enhance” my natural eye color (dark brown), a lil brighter but not necessarily color changing, unfortunately somehow they dried out by that time and i went with clear ones. For the valima i wore navy blue lenses and i think it looked pretty nice… :halo:

i like colorblends i have them in hazel

My favorite are hte Freshlook ones in Hazel personally i feel they look a bit more natural. I used to wear colored ones alot but now wear mostly clear. Another good brand is Expressions, but tehirs are very deep dramatic colors..i have the blue ones :smiley:

ok if you buy color contacts from pakistan they are disgusting ugly, my cousin had a pair on and it looked like poop green. lol. but if you buy like freshlooks the colors are really natural and pretty. i have worn colored contacts for 4 years and ppl always think they're my real eyes

I think hazelnut brown is a beautiful colour, i dont really like unatural coloured contacts
but iv seen some lenses that look natural, i dont know wat type they r.

i wear freshlook colored lenses.. but i dont think i wud wear them for my barat i'll prefer transparent ones.

I don't understand why anyone would want to look different from their everyday life on their wedding day. If you wear colored contacts everyday, then by all means do it for your wedding. But if you don't, then don't! You're supposed to look like yourself on your wedding day, albeit enhanced and more beautified. If you're not happy with the color of your eyes, don't be happy with them every day out of the year, not just one.

I agree with you pakifairy. They very obviously look fake. Why would ppl think they look gorgeous and real when ur brown and brown ppl don't normally have coloured eyes. And those that say they get complimented.... I feel for you guys. Ppl have obviously been lying to you. Poor sods

why would anyone want to look different from their everyday life? because it's their wedding day? why else? if you want to look the same you can put your hair in a pony tail and wear jeans to your wedding, but no one does that. the amount of makeup almost every bride has on her wedding day is enough to make her look different. you want to look glamorous and beautified on your wedding day. then why are colored contacts such a big deal? if you want to wear them then go ahead. you're not trying to fool someone by making them think you have blue eyes, you just do it for fun sometimes. that's like saying, don't die your hair, people know it's not your natural hair color. you do it because you think it looks nice and u want a change.
