I went to a salon recently ot get my hair colored.
THe lady at the salon told me that since I had put henna on my hair, I will not be able to color my hair with any lighter shades…she but a reddish-dark brown kinda color on my hair…but it’s not the shade i wanted!! i wanted to go for light brown…
can anyone pls suggest wat can be done? is it not possible for me to lighten my hair ( without bleaching ofcourse) becus of henna in my hair?
That's true, you'd have to dye your hair dark brown a couple of times and wait for your natural color to come back. If your hair is naturally dark there's no way you can go 'lighter' without bleaching.

Give it a break after each color for 2-3 weeks.. which salon did you go to btw?

oh ok.....but dont u think its going ot damage the hair??
oh and also do i apply the same color or do i apply a lighter color next time?

Weird, no parlour ever told me that. I just go and get whatever colour I want done. I have light red hair colour right now. Went from dark brown to light red.
You either wait for the mehendi to fade or keep dying your hair the same color a couple of times to your hair takes-on that color. You will need to bleach it though to go lighter.
