color contact lenses

I opened a thread about these a few weeks ago and had an appointment to have a fitting, then I cancelled it cos I was worried about how they would affect my sight in the dark when the pupils become larger. I just wanted to know if it will affect it hugely or very slightly and will I still be able to drive? I did pm a certain person about this but she hasnt replied so I thought I’d open another thread.
Would appreciate any help. Thanx.

I used to wear color contacts years ago and they never affected my vision in any way, at any time.

I’ve been wearing colored contacts for almost 3 years and have had no problem with them. I also have no problem driving while wearing them.

~tabussum~, I wear colored contacts, and have some problems at night (vision gets blurry due to pupils getting enlarged), but I do drive at night w/ them on, and it isn't a major problem. I can still see with them on, just not as good as without. I think it depends on the person's eyes. If you are interested in getting them, make sure to try out the trial pair the eye doctor gives you. Determine whether you can see properly or if your eyes are getting irritated, and then decide if you want to get a pair.

Colored contacts look scary, make your eyes look stony and unnatural from a mile off.

Be proud of ur own eyes and let them breathe.

i had some discomfort to see in the night...because the pupils gets larger...
and i already said lenses caused my eyes to get very sensitive and after few years, i could not wear lenses any more
