My hubby’s sis is getin married this summer, now we have chosen the collors for the lehnga for NIkah reception, It’s light brown, kinda rust, and a bit pinkish( not light pink but a shade mixed with brown, pink and rust) Fabric is net (dunno how to explain hope u’ll understand wht i mean)
Now the prob is we don’t know wht to do, make a lehnga of it or a sharara, and should we use the fabrik for the lehnga or the blouse(kameez)? wht kind of suggestions do u have? (acc to combo and styles)
how about asking her what she’d prefer? you’re already choosing the color, kaam, and fabric so maybe get her input into some of it?
i love gharara’s and how classic they are… i also find them more fun to wear than lehengas.
the material sounds like a good choice for a dupatta and the bottom skirt bit, with heavy worked borders and maybe a sprinkling of kaam on the rest of it. it would flow really prettily and not be too heavy for her. you could line the gharara with silk jamavar maybe.
i’d say no to the shirt cos you’d have to get it lined too and if the lining isn’t done properly, it might not fit well.
Tht’s a really nice dress sgc thnx!! but her collor is a bit darker, i try to post tht!
Problem is tht we can’t really make a choice for the design:( it’s like this, the mehndi dress is a sharara, nikah and rukhsati not finalised yet, and walima is a gharara so tht’s why i asked wht can be choosed:)
Is there an option to make a churidaar since she is already wearing a sharara on mehendi and gharara on walima? its nice to see different looks on different days.

Hey tht's also a option i didn't thought bout tht! Just 1 q wht's the fashion now long kameez or short?
yeah or a khara dupatta or angarkha?
those are always nice and formal looking too.
also kuri, i was just showing you the style of net with jamavar underneath- your color sounds quite different :)
Wht's a khara dupatta? Anarkalli is also a nice option
Yeah it's a really diff everyone who's takin a look at is just wondering wht the name of the color is :) The jamavar style is just great, only the sleeves are missin:P (our fam doesn't want sleevles for weddins)
^ too babyish.....i would say you need more maturity in color combinations...especially for your wedding jora....pinks..baby blues...and pastels look a little infantile.... :)
