This seems to be the latest health trend, or has it been around for some time? I’m not sure! But it seems quite cool, basically they clean all the **** out of your system and you can lose upto 5 lbs in one session. You’re only supposed to get it done about once every six months. Apparantly, theres all this leftover stuff left inside our colons and everyone needs proper cleansing and detox once in a while. I think I’d like to get it done, and then I’ll feel as light as a bird!!
Re: Colonic Irrigation
Sure it might clean you out....but it will leave you hollow inside.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
nah dude
Allah miyaan made the human body perfect
we dont need no colonic irrigation i think if our bodies r functioning normally
dont even go for it catty it sounds highly sketchy man
Re: Colonic Irrigation
u wana detox?
have two spoonfuls of castor oil
ur stomach / intestines etc r gona be empty real fast after that
Re: Colonic Irrigation
It's been around for quite some time actually Catty. Every gym I've worked at has offered it..........it makes you feel queasy when you see the lumps of poo floating down the tube in the water. Yuck yuck yuck.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
ps) I just realised that my previous post makes it sounds like I've had my colon irrigated. No way!
Re: Colonic Irrigation
lol, so its like an enema? Gross man, why cant you just sit on the toilet.
Irem, I dont think its harmful. I do eat psyllium husk (isabghol), but I have a slow metabolism so I think it would be good for someone like me. Maybe Shahreen is willing to give me one for free. :D
Re: Colonic Irrigation
Matsui, dont you love that hollow feeling after diarohea? I feel like an anorexic catwalk model momentarily after a stomach upset.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
^ Jeez catty...acquire an eating disorder..smells less.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
no I love my food too too much!!
Re: Colonic Irrigation
I had the dubious "pleasure" of coming across a site that talked about this, complete with many pictures for the skeptics!
Sure is a lotta poo that comes out.
Anyway, it's nothing new. In my village, induced diarrhea is an annual event.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
I’ll go and get my hosepipe…
Re: Colonic Irrigation
How does the procedure work? What do they give you to induce the cleaning?
Re: Colonic Irrigation
My friend wants to do this. It costs about $500, but there will be no surgery involved. Basically, you eat certain things for 10 days straight and it cleans out your insides. It's supposed to be more 'spiritual' and more of a 'new age' therapy thing. I asked a doctor friend and he goes that this is the worst thing you can do to your body - forcefully cleaning it internally - be it by surgery or eating certain foods for 10 days cause you are basically disrupting the natural order of your body. Hmmmm ....
Those who have done this 'new age' way of cleansing get their results, but apparently it's extremely messy and smelly.
Re: Colonic Irrigation
sounds disgusting.. is it painful?
