hahahaha well said bhai
:)
Keep laughing. ISI, Col Iman and Zia-ul-Haq's strategic assets just bombed pakistani soldiers in Azad kashmir, killing 2 of them. And 3 were killed in miranshah. So tell me "bhai", who is the terrorist now?

First the good.
---- Brig Munir is much more knowledgeable about FATA
---- Brig Munir is very focused and has clear vision
---- Brig Munir correctly points out the root cause of FATA Talibs.
---- FATA Talibs have existed before 9/11
--- Both of these ex-intel officers support government actions.
--- Both of them are sure about Pak army's success.
the bad.
Col. Imam and many other Punjabis like him are still sheeple (followers like sheep) of Afghan Taliban.
Col. Imam still wants to spread constipated conspiracy theories.
conclusion.
People like Brig Munir are the true knowledgeable. they deserve to be the leaders of Pakistan.
Re: Colonel Imam - First time on TV
For all of you super genius's .. the point of the thread is not discussing the col imam is good or bad,... it was posted so people can know about the real history.
Anyway, Col Imam is bad or good.. and why he created talibans.. is not his personal choice:
he is just a son of soil and executing orders from the higher ups and that's it. When the time comes (today) he is the one who is favoring the operation against the TTP the one's he help fathered, this is some thing to be appreciated, instead of just bashing around and comparing with franksitein ..or else .. !
Re: Colonel Imam - First time on TV
^ yes well real history as per colonel sahab is that taliban in afghanistan are good for pakistan.our taking part in that war has in turn ignited voilence in our tribal areas. while he promotes dealing with terrorist he wants a distinction to be made between agencies run voilence which as per him increased musharraf era and thinks everyone shouldnt be labelled under one title. he is also very concerned about the nature and intention behind current operation and that in turn by his insinuations can affect the effectivity of military strategy. also shows concern about us base being built in pakistan.

Again .. we have consensus on waging or creating Jihad against USSR with the help of West & Islamic Countries. Col Imam and hundreds of operatives of intelligence services were given an order which they done beautifully & classically, its much appreciated in the "circles", period.
I still believe security services of Pakistan are using Talibans/Jihadi's in Afghanistan to contain the West in the same area known as "graveyard of empires". This is justifiable, we as a small nation can't fight one to one with the countries like USA/Europe/India/Russia - for that reason we have to use unconventional ways to protect our sphere of influence which is stretching from Afghanistan to Myanmar, this is vital for existence and no compromise can be made on it.
Yes we are paying huge price for that, but their is no other option available. As far the tribal area's concerned, rest assure we are fully capable to take care of them, just require lil-bit of will - which is provided by mounting pressure & support of people of Pakistan.
The only solution for the peace is acceptance of Pakistan role as the main player in the region strategic interests, we are peace loving people but with dignity only !
Re: Colonel Imam - First time on TV
What an egostitical non-repentant monster this Col Imam is. He is so much in love with the Taliban, Zia and Jihadees. He started of by correcting minor mistakes in his intro to satisfy his own ego. He finds nothing hypocritical about his praise and friendship for Americans until Geneva accord and his hatred towards them from that point on. He also found correct, the earliar approach of light operations followed by "Amn Muahida", saying this is how you deal with "your own people". If they were "own people" at that time then they are still own people. How can he call these "own people" CIA, RAW and mossad now?
I am quite impressed by the host Nasim Zehra. She did quite an excellent job of keeping Imam on topic and interrupted him many times from going on a tangent about Nato, CIA, RAW and Mossad. She also did a good job of exposing Imam.
The bright side was the views expressed by the other brig.
Re: Colonel Imam - First time on TV
^ Again the same rhetoric like other posters, why you can't get the simple point, Col Imam is just an agent who follow orders !
