Colombia pics...

Re: Colombia pics…

Dude, don’t post such pics. I have tough time editing them :bummer:

BTW, great pictures and looking good :k:

Re: Colombia pics...

welcome back...thekids are so cute...seems like you had tons of fun....and also did a very noble deed of teaching kids:)

Re: Colombia pics...

Thnaks for the comments and i apologise for the pic lol...

One of the questions was about desis in Colombia...Medellin there were none at all...not one...foreigners were a rarity where i was at too...

Tough experience being alone without any spanish...im not exaggerating when i say 90% of the people i met only knew how to say their name and numbers in english...

The kids ended up learning some decent english and they really helped me with my spanish...i miss the kids the most tbh...proper ghetto but really well behaved not just with me but with all their teachers...

Such people though...i was worried about travelling alone but it was nice having time to myself to be honest...and when i got back to london it was the first time i got home and wasnt thinking im glad to be back...

As for the place being dangerous it really isnt that bad...i was walking around favela areas with jewellery...as long as your with people your cool...it gets a lot of undeserved hype...

Genuinely thinking of doing that tefl thing and travelling for a while after my degree...

Re: Colombia pics...

Oh yeah and as for the ladies...i thought they looked younger than they were...the first one was 41...the second 32 and the last one 56...
In particular i think the last one aged well...56 year olds look a lot older than her down in london...

Re: Colombia pics...

mashallah nice pictures looks like you had a nice time coool .....:)

Re: Colombia pics...

Great pics man! South America here i come!!!! (in this life hopefully)

Re: Colombia pics...

NBN, what a phenomenal experience, the pictures are fantastic. I can imagine it was quite and adventure. Kudos for having the balls to do this.

Re: Colombia pics...

This is so great NBN! Ditto to aahmed's comment, it's great to see people venturing outside of their comfort zones and flying solo too...

A friend went to Costa Rica recently and was blown away by the beauty of the place, the hospitality of the people and the down to earth, straight up way of living...he said I would have loved it...and I'm sure I would have...

I wish I had the guts to do something like this, but being female and not particularly 'street savvy' I'm somewhat nervous to travel alone...perhaps one day...

Great pics by the way and I agree the women have def aged extremely well...I find the same trait in black women/people in general too...I wonder if Columbians have any 'black history' so to speak...?

Re: Colombia pics...

great pictures and you sure have a big wide smile:)

Re: Colombia pics...

nice pictures

Re: Colombia pics...

nice

Re: Colombia pics...

i love the pics with the kids....they are so cute :)

Re: Colombia pics…

Thanks for all the kind comments…

Phonexi51…Flying solo is all good…its just about meeting people in the place you are…there was a girl from Holland at the school i was in and she made friends very easily both male and female…carry yourself well and you’ll be fine…Central America im doing with one friend…

As for the race thing…Colombia is very mixed…the black people are very black…a lot of mixed people and those are various combinations involving white, native, spanish or black…some worked out really well…honestly anyone can look like a colombian…lots of pakistani looking people, tamil looking people, black people, mixed race people and white people…only people that wouldnt look colombian are the blonde hair and blue eyed folk…that is a rarity down there…what i will say though that there is a distinctly colombian look…as in there are people who dont look like anywhere else…one thing about colombians…all of them have incredible smiles…and such great teeth…even in the favela areas…i remember coming home and being so put off by all the smokers teeth we have in england…another thing…everyone has a big chest…the favela girls generally have fantastic figures and those that dont pay for it…thats especially common in the richer areas…i have never seen so many boombjobs in my life…if you have a small chest you are the odd one out here…

Black folk dont always age well…check some nigerians but iv noticed jamaicans do…one race which i have noticed that age well are iranians…some very attractive middle aged women from iran…

Heres a few more ladies who in terms of age i thought looked young…the first is the main teacher at the school i was teaching…the second is the secretary at the place i was being taught…she was so sweet and gave me a very good massage and the 3rd is one of the teachers …

And since the kids seem to be getting a lot of appreciation here are some more…teaching kids i definitely advise…these were the happiest kids i got to meet and spending time with them actually makes you forget a lot of the BS that goes on and their happiness end up rubbing off on you…without them it would have been a good holiday…they are what made it a wonderful holiday…

Re: Colombia pics...

Yeah I guess I should just bite the bullet and do something like this too...my sis was looking into TEFL stuff for a while and you're right working with kids is so refreshing...they all look so innocently happy, it's no wonder that it rubbed off on you too...!

I've never really checked out Nigerians in particular in respect of ageing, but I'll have a peep the next time I come across any... :D

Funny about the boob job thing...I'm sure I read once about one part of Central America where girls were getting bum implants too because large, round bottoms are considered attractive there...I wonder if they have their own version of cup sizes...?

Re: Colombia pics...

NBN
Don't you get tired....

From smiling.
