Did anyone catch the game of NIU and the 13 ranked MAryland?It was an awesome game. NIU upset Maryland in the overtime 20-13. Yeah baby. NIU is from the MAC!! the supposetdly “weak” conference and defeated the pre season top ACC team!!!

UCONN killed indiana
USC Trojans began their quest for national title thrashing #6 Auburn 23 -0. They held them to 164 total offense.
Ahem Texas losing ..So much for winning the BCS national title.. my sympathies with you Umair.. 
Don’t worry, its still early in the season, anything can happen.
Nebraska went to BCS finals after the lost to Colorado 2 years back.

USC Trojans now will be ranked 2nd in the BCS rankings (Barring any funny complex variable calculus formulae employed by the computer at the The New York Times). USC beat cross-town rivals UCLA 47 - 22.
At the same time, Ohio State Bucks got their rears whooped by Michigan Wolverines 35 - 21.
Michigan sould now go to The Rose Bowl while USC plays Oklahoma on Jan 4 Sugar Bowl national title game.
PS: And Harvard beat Yale in case anyone cares about these rivals :D

Yep, its a big battle between LSU and USC for the 2nd spot, I don't know if these 2 teams have anymore games remaining, but if they both lose then Texas might play OU but thats almost close to impossible.
I think the biggest losers in the BCS rankings is TCU, poor team hasn't lost a single game all year long and they are still not in the top 4.

yo whats the dealio with house hearings on how college football teams are ranked and championships decided, anyone willing to give me a 2 minute primer on what de hell is that all about and what they plan to do and how soon.
^^ U mean they have nothing better to do but waste time on this non sense. NCAA just needs to implement a 16 team playoff system, only then you can measure the true champion...rest of the stuff including BCS is just crapshoot.

hey they had tackled all important issues like freedom fries and all, so now it was on to football. did u not see that? am i the only viewer of c-span in north america? okay so i could not sleep and wanted to see somethign utterly boring, and that utah rep whats hisface droning about how unfair the system helped me zone out in 5 mins..but anyone know what the deal is? are they forcing N-C two A to change teh way its works?
I think a playoff situation makes more sense..rather than these formulas
