Collective Punishment

Villagers from Pakistan’s tribal area Wana, situated at Pakistan-Afghanistan border look at houses demolished by authorities on Thursday, Nov. 6, 2003, of two fugitive tribal elders wanted for ** allegedly ** sheltering al-Qaida fighters fled from neighboring Afghanistan (news - web sites). (AP Photo/Ahsanullah Wazir)

A dumb move by the gov't. I hope your statements are not true for the sake of those villagers.

This is indeed a very bad move and I really hope this report is false and that this will remain a "single incident". Otherwise that would open the door for the authorities to confiscate and destroy people´s property based on allegations.

Sadly, the government has done this once before.... back in 1971, in East Pakistan.

This is so nice to see…

Zionists break Muslim homes in Palestine everyday, Russians broke it in Afghanistan which has now been taken over by Americans, Russians destroy Chechen homes everyday, Americans destroy Iraqi homes everyday, in Kashmir Muslim houses are being torn down and now, in our own lands on our own soil Muslim leaders now break Muslim homes…:mash:

Even now some people believe that the war against Muslims hasn’t started…What more proof can anyone want? Western leaders are now openly declaring Islam an enemy to themselves, and some of our brothers and sisters still say, oh it’s nothing…

Allah :swt: protect our homes…Ameen…

At least the Pakistan Army had learned some thing from IDF. This has become such a common practice, the purpose is to deprive you off of your basic human needs, ultimately making you more dependable on all the international aid, they way to go MuSharon.

I live in Pakistan and am very happy that the government has taken this step, the only thing I hope for is that these anti Pakistan hate mongers should have been in their houses while they were bulldozed.

:i dont support alqaeda icon:

:jhanda:

OK, so let’s say I am an Al-Qaeda supporter…And I know you are anti Al-Qaeda…So, if ever I come into power, should I go ahead and bulldoze your house with you in it?

After all, your views don’t agree with mine, and after all, you are anti- Al-Qaeda and I totally support it…That gives me as much right to destroy your house as the government had to destroy these…

Please don’t take my comments personally…But you should welcome the actions of others upon yourself as you expect others to welcome it from you…Leaving people homeless without a shelter is a crime upon humanity, and not every Al-Qaeda person was involved in anything that happened…

I understand your need to bunch everyone up in a nice bundle is an easy way to dispose justice American and Israeli style, but we Muslims are trained to judge individually…That what our faith Islam teaches and that’s how it should be…

Lajj: I wish u were there when the police were untangling the intestines of the Pakistani(MUSLIM) driver from the bus blown up in front of Sheraton .

I wish u were there when the police found the head of a poor Pakistani (MUSLIM) vendor 60 feet from his cart in the bomb explosion in front of US embassy Karachi.

Probably u would have shared my sentiments….

Nevertheless If Al-qaeda really wanted to do something for the betterment of the Muslims world , they could have ……

Helped the Muslim society socially, economically, and strategically.
They could have motivated the Muslim world to educate the masses, aware them about suppression, lead them to revolution, not against people of other faiths but against there inner vices.
…And once they have reached that pinnacle of society they could be ready to lead the world rather then to be led.

If al-qaeda had this course of action I would also have been their fan..
Till then
………….Give me a break!!!!

BTW: according to your concocted theory lajj, A murderer cannot be sentenced cause if he is in the judges shoes he would instead punish the judge…>>whatever!!!<<

Nice sentiments Pakora...Unfortunately misplaced...

Everyday you see what happens in Palestine...Everyday you see what happens in Iraq...Everyday you see what happens in Kashmir, Chechnya, Bosnia, Gujrat e.t.c against the Muslims...Don't you get a tiny, small sense of what is happening to the Muslims?

The Taliban and Al-Qaeda are waging a war to eradicate these injustices against the Muslims brought on by forces outside their control...They can build build a civilization, unfortunately the yoke of democracy and capitalism holds all Muslims hostage, so how can you expect to build a society if you aren't even free? If your house is constantly under surveillance so that you can't even move without someone telling you how to move, would you like that?

And how do you know those explosions weren't carried out by America itself? Are you so blinded that you can't see the treachery that America does and did? Do you know America gave Iraq weapons and secretly gave Iran weapons too during their war? Do you know it was America that gave weapons to Iraq and then denied it? The Iran contra scandal? The supporting and assassinations of dictators? The lies, the deceit, the treachery and the deception that America does and has been doing? And since America told you it was a bomb placed by Al-Qaeda you hate Al-Qaeda because Uncle Sam likes you to hate Al-Qaeda...

Look at the track record...The Taliban were loved by the Afghans...The women who went to the Talib cemetery to ourn for their fallen soldiers were shot at by American and Northern Alliance forces...Al-Qaeda built schools and hospitals...You don;t trust me? At least you trust the western media...Look for independent news sources and you'll have you answers...InshAllah...

Never be blinded, always question...What is the motive, what is the reason? What would Al-Qaeda gain by blowing up a taxi outside of the embassy? Ever though about that? How hard is it to launch an attack on the embassy in Karachi if you want to...I am sure you know that...

Nice sentiments…but unfortunately misinterpreted .

My knowledge is not based on uncle Sam’s spoon feeding, neither am I a big fan of “Newsweek” or “Time” magazines Lajj dear!! I was in Pakistan air force, some of my course mates ended up in Pakistan Army (don’t ask me how). Some of them got shaheed while trying to apprehend these NON PAKISTANI nationals who had taken refuge in the tribal area of Pakistan. 45 Pakistani armed forces personnel lost their lives in trying to capture these Chechnyan/Albanian/ and Afghani Al-qaeda members who were trying to free Palestine at the sake of fellow Muslim Pakistanis. Intelligence reports had clearly showed that these agents were funding and helping other organisations to target foreign and PAKISTANI national interests, they were also supporting terrorist activities in Pakistan…
When I went to the families of my deceased course mates, I couldn’t look into the eyes of their family members and say that your son’s life is lost in vein or that he was committing a grave mistake by defending his soil from foreign insurgents.
America might manipulate the world economy, but Saudi holds 1/3 part of the world oil resources , If Saudi wanted they could tighten the noose on the western world so bad that they wouldn’t know what hit them.
Violence will never achieve freedom, especially when u lack in technology, education and resources. Excel in these fields, bring unity among the Muslim world, get rid of a opportunist and self serving attitude and voila!!! We have a platform from where we can bring the world to our knees.

What we all need, is a bit of introspection….:)

I wish you were there when Pakistan allowed these holy fighters to blow up innocent Hindus and Sikhs in Kashmir. I wish you were there when Pakistan allowed 12 to 14 year olds AK 47s child soldiers picked up in trucks and delivered for Jihad in Kashmir, I wish you had been there when a young kid from these areas took grenades in to Indian bases and blew themselves up. I wish you were there when 300 Mujahids from amongst these people took on the last base in Azad Kashmir trapping over mines and barb wire and do you know how many came out? Only 7! I wish you were there when F-16s were on the gift list for Pakistan. I wish you were there when all kind of aid packages where made available for Pakistan in both of these Afghan wars. I wish you where there when B52s carpet bombed villagers while Pakistan got 300 million in aid.
