Perhaps it was typo but still it would not be balanced if Begaanay was written once.
It should have been:
Aaj Wohi Hum Se Kuch, Beygaanay Se Rahte Hain
If you read page 16 the first Nazam, you will know what I mean.

Read again and try to rhyme and you will find the answer.
Anyhow you asked another example:
Read Page 96.
First shayr is off balance unless you say 'Shaam-o-Sahar' very fast. It does not rhyme with other ashaar.
Page 97
Main Ne In galiyon,kaliyon, phoolon Se Kia Hai Pyar. (Long)
All of sudden next shayr has shorter first misraa
as
Burge Awaara Main Bikhri Hai Jis ki Rudaad
it seems like after Jis there shoud have been a word

~Burge Awaara Main Bikhri Hai Har Dil Ki Rudaad
Read shayr above and below and then make a judgement.
I just surfed through his work and besides very good thoughts, I was not too much impressed with quality work as poets from old times. Not even close to Faiz or Faraz.

it doesn't have to 'rhyme' ... oh and about u saying the sher lost weight.. i'm sorry but if it doesn't make sense to u doesn't mean it doesn't have 'wazan'...
