ColdFusion Server MX problem - HELP!!!

I have installed ColdFusion MX 6 server on Windows2000 server. The server is configured with an internal IP address and running Internet Information Services on localhost. When I bring up any web-site running on it, it comes up even if it is a coldfusion application that I have developed. So this means that the ColdFusion server is running. My problem is that when I run try to go to the ColdFusion Administrator page, it does not come up at all. I don’t remember the exact error message, but it is a very generic message basically saying that it this page cannot be loaded.

I go to \localhost\cfide\administrator\login.cfm and it doesn’t come up. I put a test page like test.html in the same path and it comes up. All other pages come up under cfide, but this login page is not coming up. I HAVE TO solve this problem ASAP, so if you have any suggestions PLEASE let me know. I have already uninstalled and reinstalled CF server, but it still doesn’ t let me get on the Administrator login page

PLEASE HELP!

Re: ColdFusion Server MX problem - HELP!!!

I have already tried using //servername, //127.0.0.2 and //server_ip_address but the CF administrator page still doesn't load.

if you can tell me what the error message is, i can probably help you.

Re: ColdFusion Server MX problem - HELP!!!

I think I know what you're talking about.
There is a patch that is required to fix this issue...it has something to do with expiring certificates. Either install 6.1 update or let me know if you can't and I'll look up the patch for you.
