This coat, a color of bottle green
Will prevent extreme cold.
In that responsible lap topped stillness
Of fast moving hands on that keyboard -
Planning of peace bands of widening on this earth
Setting a deadline for this task -
So that they do not know stopping from writing
Accompanying, every sip of all cups of teas.
Drinks in this life, sustenance to grow stronger
All flavors, bitter or sweet, hot or those that got colder
With it, this thoughtfulness of a strained pen
Polar-ism of these blank recycled sheets of papers
Are so afraid of being written on,
With that speeding unforgiving mind
That knows no dials
A soul that is fevered with gadgets of all kinds
Discounting all hearing, seeing & feeling
Always thinking, never resting
Conferencing with its own queries
When too much is given to it
It stops indulging the world !
Distancing the world from itself.
There it is: an ever deepening pocket of wants
That never can be reached fully nor fulfilled
Something always is safely lost in it
Always, something gets lost in it.
The heart sparkles in all that what it knew thus far…
Like crunch-able autumn fall leaves
Never stop falling for a long time,
To change their surroundings,
They change their own colors so carelessly.
A twister of a mind, a body that yet stands on its own
Eyes of this face marveling,
How tense it gets in all its calm?
Living through a very own, smart & compact
Vacuum of contradicting needs
Trickling each moment, passes itself by
As if a fondue of obstacles of all kinds,
Present themselves, as seemingly delicious strawberries
Dipped in the dark sticky, chocolates
Of smearing, & an uncaring, impatient world -
Pass on that sweetened bitterness.
‘Sip it!’ is heard, from somewhere
It tastes better, when it is your own, in the least
Just like your life, distilled, a strongly brewed tea
