Cold Start

An interesting yet limited analysis of the Cold Start doctrine.

Re: Cold Start

Both countries need to learn, i see no point in any war between us and India.
While it is true that i belong to a martial fammily who have relied on war as a form of employment for more than a millenium i also recognise the desperate need of both countries peoples for a lasting peace.

Niether country is really capable of a war at this time, any war between the two nations would be a total disaster, regardless of who wins the poor will still be poor.

Both countrie need to focuss efforts in making thier own peoples more comfortable in thier daily lives. War won't help either Pakistan or India, the effort involved cannot be justified by any percieved gains.

India needs to understand this rather than plan overt and covert warfare.

This quarrel between India and Pakistan reminds me of two bald men fighting over a comb! Is there anything more pathetic than a nation waging war who cannot even feed most of it's people. Take heed the powers that be!

After reading analysis / views from both sides, its more like cold fart then cold start.

Re: Cold Start

Cold Start has serious implications for Pak Army. Chief is crying these days, stop cutting the defense budget.

Well Chief Sahab, why don't the army start selling army-owned real estate?

Only India ??

Re: Cold Start

The Indian army is an extremely ineffectient organization, whatever Gen Kapoor says. They like to think tthey can carry out surgical strikes like the Israelis. But if I rated armies from 1 to 10, I would rate the Israelis at 1 and the Indians at 10. Pscycologically, the Isrealis have so much to loose, there very existence depends on the success of there army. India doesnot face an existential threat. So all this Cold start business is BS.

Now the Pak army is also bloated, corrupt, and as Chaudary Firenze says, involved in all sorts of comercial activities. So what we have is zere facing zero, the result lots of eye ball to eye ball business, but nothing more.

how did you know :ASA:

Re: Cold Start

ive never seen a report which says nuclear weapons will not be used, both countries claim the other wont even get to pressing the trigger.

i think both countries will deliver their isotopes to each other. the gravity of the situation is clear

what are you, Chief of Army ?
