cold sore..herpes is easy to catch by kissing someone who has it, or sharing glasses etc.
its not something that will go away.
be careful that you dont spread it to
1) other peple
2) your eyes
3) genitals

Yeah, when I first got one a few years ago, my doc told me that I could get one again. Usually they go away in 2 days.
Yes I am careful about #1 & 2, but ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww to number 3.

be carful with your kids too.It is a lifelong infection and can be spread around to kids sharing utensils etc.I do however think that its only when the oozing wali stage .Use Zilactin or some sort of medicine that I have heard dries it out quickly.

No, I don't have oozy types, just a slight bump on lower lip outer edge. But even then I've gotta be careful. Thank God it goes away quickly!

Abreva works wonders for cold sores. Hope it gets better soon.

this type of herpes is very common and easy to spread. I believe it is said that 90% of people get this infection.
