Others say theyre such wannabes. I say lets hear it! I would love to see fresh sound coming out of India, anything other than the toxic waste Bollywood has been pushing out. I would also like to see more representation of India’s folk music on screen. India has far more cultures than Pakistan and it would be nice to see them all through this lens.
don't think it'll be as big in India simply because their music culture revolves around movies and they have many many other cultural "distractions" while pakistan is a "monoculture" these days
