Re: Coffee

I like Arabic and turkish coffee most.

Arabic coffee can be made be slightly roasting coffee beans until they are gold in color then add cardamom, cloves and saffron to give that golden color.

Turkish coffee can be made by roasting the beans until they have very dark brown color, then grind with some cardamom and brew with sugar and water.

As for desserts with arabic coffee, I usually like to make dates cake with caramel/butter scotch syrup

It’s yummy

Re: Coffee

Re: Coffee

cappuccino

Re: Coffee

you will either need an espresso machine
or a mokka pot by bodum or bialetti, or really someone else, ikea sells them too, they are not real espresso machines per say but for blended drinks like latte or cappuccino they make a good cup of coffee to add the milk to.
espresso is made using pressure and less time of water contact with coffee grounds
you get more flavor and less acidity, so the taste is much better.

Re: Coffee

but if one hvnt expresso or cant afford such machine. then how he/she can beat the coffe well at home. whther with whisker or egg beater?

Re: Coffee

There is no need to beat coffee. A mokka pot is very inexpensive, that would major good coffee.
It's the milk that needs to be frothed. You can use a milk steamer, a stand alone frothing wand which is battery operated and is inexpensive or the cheapest way is to boil the milk put it in a thermos and shake, it would help if you have a small eggbeater type thing inside, look up handheld shake mixers they have that, or just use a shake mixer, froth the milk and let the frothed milk stand for a minute or two do the froth gets dense

I have frothed hot milk using egg beaters in past and they work okay

Re: Coffee

Shake for a bit though, 90 seconds, will build muscle too :-)

Re: Coffee

here is a video for making coffee using the mokka, next best thing if u dont have a good espresso machine

and here is a simple good standalone frother

and a very simple ikea handheld frother
