6. If you have been asked to visit a deserted place? whom shall you choose to accompnay you from GS? Well, this is tricky. It would have to be someone very clever, careful, trustworthy, creative, hardworking, and willing to let me boss them around. Any takers?
**7.How did you find GS? How has the experience been so far? **I was looking for photos of wedding clothes to send to my mother-in-law who was designing my clothes. For months I didn’t realize there were other forums other than Fashion & Beauty I love GS. It’s a great way to interact with some thoughtful, witty, creative, and fun people and to connect to my Pakistani roots. It’s also a wonderful procrastination tool.

**9.Who was the first friend you made on GS?**Saby. He informed me that some random guppy was attempting to flirt with me and that I shouldn’t be confused or disturbed by his awkward replies. Just ignore him
10.Have you met any guppies? How was the experience? Yes, I’ve met Femme Fatale and Paki boy, both too briefly.
**11.Which forums you don’t like to post in and why? **No forum that I avoid, but I don’t post much in Bazaar, Computers, Religion, World Affairs. I don’t post there often because I’m afraid I’m not adding anything new or interesting to the discussions. I do read almost all of the forums.

13.Background of your GS nick? Sahar is obvious. 2002 is the year I graduated from college. Those four years in college hold some of my best memories and I will cherish them forever. They helped me to become who I am today.
14.Name the guppy/guppan u tease most and why? Don’t know that there is a consistent one. I don’t tease too many.

Whether I am trying to live up to her example or her expectations of me, I am always wondering how I would measure up to her. Her patience is commendable, her cooky-ness puzzling and amusing, and her faith is inspiring.
28.How do you like GS? If you could bring three changes to how it is now, what would you do? See #7. I would like it if people stopped making stupid, general, ignorant and bigoted comments. Alas, the price we pay for freedom of speech.
29.Something you’ve learnt from being a member on Gupshup? Pakistanis come in all shapes and sizes and philosophies. People still think in ways I thought were antiquated and others think in ways that I would never expect of a person from Pakistan.

   The Cafe because I love how friendly and funny everyone is, and I love being silly and flooding around with my pals here. =)

3.Who do you think is the most eligible bachelor on GS? and why? A few weeks ago, I would have said Crescent_, but now he’s engaged. PrinceMS is alright.

hahaha well, I’d rather not get into detail about this…but basically I was sent a link by someone who was already a member about some thread on Halloween, so I began surfing around and a few days later, I joined. I am very glad I joined. I have learned so much from GupShup..about my religion, my country, my language, etc. and made lots of great pals along the way.

8.Who is your favorite mod?
I appreciate all that the Mods of forums like Religion, Life 1, General, World Affairs, etc. have to go through because things can get very tense during serious arguments. But, if I had to choose one, I’d say ehsan uncle because he tries to work with members, as opposed to against them. =)

9.Who was the first friend you made on GS? TommyKnocker

10.Have you met any guppies? How was the experience?
None, with the exception of Angel Eyes whom I last saw when I was still in diapers (which was about 13 years ago, mind you! )

11.Which forums you don’t like to post in and why?
Feedback because I don’t like to see members and Mods/Admins all arguing. =\ Cricketnama is boring. Poetry, because I never understand it. Sometimes I don’t like going to the more serious forums because people can be mean, but usually it’s not so bad.

    Me and Wassif. :> hehe J O K I N G. sheesh.

    Ehsan Uncle, because he’s like 32 years older than me . hehe anddd because he is very polite with everyone else all the same. Also James_Bhaand, because he’s very sweet and is a loving person. Shikra, because if I don’t, he’ll get mad at me =(.

    aishaindubai because she’s so rich she has a BMW and Armani glasses and owns a company and she’s so rich oooooo! :] tee hee

17.How did you find GS? How has the experience been so far?
You just asked me that, silly!

18.What’s your philosophy of life?
Well, not many kids my age have developed philosophies of life, but I guess to sum up what I live for, I’d say to dedicate yourself to a righteous cause, and do what you have to do to help those in need. Think to benefit others before yourself. Also, something my parents always tell me is to never, under any circumstances, disrespect anyone who is older than you (regardless of ethnicity, wealth, health, history, etc.)

19.How come you’re so poetic? How does it influence your personality?
well, you know, I like to write the occasional rap with my rap-partners 5abi and Maddy and Cressi, and back in the day we had Destinee, too..mannn good times. I think reading rhymes is fun to read and write.

20.Ever been in love?
Yes <3. For the first time and forever. <3

21.One weird habbit that you think you should get rid of?
I laugh at my own jokes by myself and other people just stand there and look at me like “wth” hahahhhahaha (oh see there I go again! :P)

Mushrooms and Chicken. I also like olives.

23.What is the meanest most hurtful thing anyone has ever said to you and you’ve said to someone else?
Meanest thing I’ve said was to my brother when I got really mad at him one time and I screamed “Kutta hamaaray gharr mein peydaa ho gaiya haiy!”. =, and can’t think of the meanest thing someone said to me at the moment.

24.Can you cook? What can you make the best? When do we come over?
Yep I’m learning to cook. I can make daal, chaaval, roti, chicken curry, chicken karahi, balti butter chicken, chicken tikka, pastas, patties, etc. I also like to bake cupcakes and cookies. I make really good cupcakes. =)

25.One special memory you can never forget?
When I peed on AuntyEyes’ face while she was trying to change my diaper

26.Do you dream? What do you make out of your dreams?
I often have dreams, sometimes about what I was thinking about just before I went to sleep, and other times it’s just random. I still vaguely remember what happened in the worst dream I ever had, and I remember waking up the next morning and going straight to the bookshelf to see what our Prophet (sws) had to say about dreams in this Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith book that we have. I read that bad dreams are from Shai’taan and that we should keep them to ourselves, and so to this day I’ve never told anyone what was in that dream, nor do I ever plan to.

27.who have you been most influenced by in life? How?
Malcolm X is someone who I really look up to. He defined power, not physically, but through his words and actions. The Prophet Muhammad (sws) is also another person who has greatly influenced me, and I have interest in reading Hadiths to learn more about him. My Dad is a very smart person who is always looking to make a difference, and although he can be irrational at times, I still respect him for his strong beliefs. My mother and sisters influence me and my interests a lot, too.

28.How do you like GS? If you could bring three changes to how it is now, what would you do?
I think the Admins have done a good job, considering the number of members here vs. the number of people working on this entire site. It’s amazing, and it’s amazing to see that people like Azkar Uncle, ehsan Uncle, Faisal bhai, Muzna baji, etc. (sorry I don’t know all the names off the top of my head) have put so much time and dedication into a site like this…all to give Pakistanis throughout the world a place to connect with one another.
Three things I’d like to change:

1. Not have members who do things just to tick off Mods or show off to their pals.
2. Bring back Flashchat! =) and the audi uploader.
3. Add some more pink to the layout colors :>

29.Something you’ve learnt from being a member on Gupshup?
I’ve learned so much about my culture, language, religion, etc. Before I joined GS, I was a total ABCD, and I have to give some credit to my ‘conversion’ to GS for helping me learn more and become a completely different person. I have changed a lot (And you can even see it in my posts) from when I first joined.

    koolkomal is adorable =). And also all the uncles…soosi, jonybr, james uncle, uncle faulker…hehe
