Looking for a decent coffee shop in Lahore where one can go with or without friends to unwind, sit in a quiet corner & enjoy a quality cup of tea / coffee, snacks. Not looking for super expensive / buffet tea / snack bars / cafes. Just a quiet place & quality tea / coffee.

Dhaba is a roadside restaurant/hotel.
Charpai is a desi version of bed. Well search google images and you'd know :D

So are there any ladies only dhabas and charpais in Lahore?? Has to be air conditioned as it's too hot these days. And has to be inside the city please, not highways.

Coffee, Tea & company & Cafe Zouk have raised the prices & lowered the quality. Hot Fuzon was not great even before but they've done the same.
So, I need people to tell me about any nice coffee shop with moderate price range & quality tea, coffees & snacks.
I have heard about "Cafe Chill" in "Faisal Town". Does anyone know about it? I tried checking with a few rickshaw walas (We dont know ways around the city so have to depend on rickshaws) but they havent heard of any such place.
We would look stupid going to a normal 'dhaba' in a rickshaw just to have tea, you know :(

Some people have reccommended 'Hi Tea' in Freddy's but their timings start from 4pm onwards. Is that correct? Has anyone tried it. Is it worth going to? Timings thing is not convenient for us as we would prefer to be able to drop by any time of the day to enjoy some quality time / coffee in a quiet & nice place.

There you can find a quiet corner to sit and can have a great quality cup of tea/coffee/beverages/ice-cream/snacks etc. It's in Gulberg Hussain chawk. I went there and found their tea and coffee quite nice, not sure about your taste.

Jim: Ofcourse they do but about Freddy's Im not sure. But that's not our preference. We just need a place which is not too expensive, has nice environment where we can have a good conversation & enjoy our caffeine doses.

I went to Sukh Chen in Gulberg, i think you will like it, it's a nice place and very nice sitting out area next to gym pool.
They have sheesha and very nice sandwiches, plus relatively cheaper to jamin java and sort of cafes.
Worth giving a try.

What's wrong in it? is it important to have Mercedes to visit Espresso or the places like that? I myself have visited so many places in rikshaw and I never found it something odd :). Rikshaws are for humans not for aliens. You can simply ask the rickshaw driver to take you to Hussain chawk gulberg

espresso is not at hussain chowk. it is at mahmood qasuri road, in the basement of chez casa (nishat linen wali building).
