It is interesting that China overtook USA to become the world’s largest producer of greenhouse gasses in 2007 and that’s when the west realizes that we are heading towards doom. Even the economists are worried about it:

Every major western power has tried to persuade China to reduce its use of fossil fuels so that the impact is not that huge. But its still interesting that per capita CO2 emissions in China are much lower than the world average!

China is as big as whole of Europe..... and produces much less emissions if you put all of Europe's emissions together. And as I said, per capita or per kilometer emmissions from China are still much less than world average. The country is being singled out just because it is (presumably) damaging economies of western countries.
The point is not that we should let China go on. Its just that is is actually USA and Europe who shifted their 'factories' to China and the country is now known as the 'World's factory'. My only issue is that the US and rest of the world cannot dictate China what to do. It is their own responsibility too and should work together.

Shifting factories is not the issue, its done because it all boils down to $$$$$... China is not #1 today but if it continues with its breakneck growth rate it won't be long before it becomes #1.. At this time US is the biggest economy, China is poised to become the biggest by 2025 shifting US to teh second place... Can you imagine that a nation of 1.3+ billion can now afford all the luxuries that are available to the first world?
