Co-productions have been terrible all along

I can’t recall a single co-produced Pakistani drama that was worth watching or was captivating. Numerous Pakistani dramas have already turned into soap operas, which have completely ruined them.

The ones with stars from both sides of the border are just as bad.
The makeup’s always overdone, the clothing is strange, there is so much of silly camera tricks, and of course they lack good solid stories. All they have is glamour.

Pakistan’s better off casting its own stars and coming up with half decent stories than the co-produced ones. I fail to understand what it is that they achieve.

Also, how many Pakistanis have performed in dramas at the other side of the border?

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

:k: Now dramas are just kinda formality and more fatique seemed to be done by the Team of technical members and actors ,Just few dramas that hav som kinda life ,I gues now production of dramas hav been on the basis of quantity not quality

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

You are right Sadiyah!! One is just as bad if not worse than the other. People have run out of stories. Same old saas bahu / two wives one husband stretched into never ending soaps.

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

Rukhsarbibi, sadly there really are no more stories when it comes to co-productions. I think we should all restrain ourselves from watching such dramas.

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

all these pakistani actors who ran like starved kids to work with their indian counterparts or go to india, really flopped, because these dramas are horrible!

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

Hi..sadiyah well ur right dramas r really bad now a days like Kajal its sooo fake now actors r more intrested into glamour and they want to look good but acting doesn't matter cuz soo many models r coming into this and they dun no nothing about acting yet people will watch cuz of them..but not all the dramas r like this..Safaid Posh was realllyy good and Tum kahan hum kahan is very good.

i want to become a producer and give good dramas to watch:)

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

here are few dramaz which arent realli bad
tum kahan hum kahan
khuda ke basti
and yaad to ayengey,i liked it cause it didnt look fake and actors didnt hve to much make up.acting looked quite reall which in these new dramaz dosent at all

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

I hate those pakistani dramas in which indian artists r performing..

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

I agree with u.
Pakistani artists have their own recognition and are looked not as good as in their local dramas with Paki artists only.

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

in tere ishq mein the idian actress did a gud job ...

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

I dont watch tere ishq main…:hoonh:

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

and is there any guarantee of success???if indian artists play leading role....these producers r just wasting their money n time..:o

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

How many Pakistani artists have been casted in Indian dramas?

Re: Co-productions have been terrible all along

None..and we all know it right ..but why do our directors say that its really good that there taking our actors and were taking there actor and give people something new to watch like Fahim burney recently said that..and i dun see our actors in there drama they will never take Hamiyun or sadia Imam they take there actor and even if india does take our actors they wont give them leading roles like our directors do..and i must say i hate fahim burney's dramas they r soo crap useless they dun have a story omg he needs to do something else.!
