UPDATE ...

i am seeing it live RITE now from college's central tv workstations and the news channels across the world...

a SECOND plan crashed in the second tower, third explosion, buildings down..

pentagon building is also closed cuz ANOTHER hijacked plan is reported to be on its way ..

my friend's uncle was in the building when it collapsed, i gave her my cell and she called home to find out that uncle DID died because he works at the 40th something floor in one of the tower..

watching it live rite now.. will see how things go ..

also, manhatten downtown is almost shut down and equated, elections are cancelled throughout the city.

well all i can say may god help us all
allah had written in his kithab those 2 biuldingz will falll
regardless they knew or not they coulndt of stopped it

i will miss the biugldingz alot wen i drive down mongomry and i wont see them it makes me cry i saw them since birth
but rite stuff happens

i waz in school and i felt sum rumbling i got scared thank god my dad pikked me up at time and brung me home sumthing very serious

but if this waz done for a good muslim cause i cant say good jog but my heart cant say that boo for terrarist AZ lonG az muslim ppl got there point accross maybe it waz for a good cause well az of now i don know no1 knowz lest pray not 2 many ppl died and every1 survives

for us jersey kids i guess it waz sumthin real but ppl who don see it on a daily basis mite not care but i will admit it u don know the value of sumthin till u lose it even if they are 2 crappy biuldingz

very scary expierence

all i can say is

i was speechless when i heard about the attacks this morning and i still am.
i cant believe im missing seeing all of this on cnn cuz we dont have a tv in my suite yet. i did watch some of the coverage at my university community centre but thats about it. emergency counselling services and a non-denominational discussion/service is already being offered at our residence buildings this evening. this is undoubtedly one of the most scariest things ive seen in my life

165,000 is the EXPECTED casualties+death rate.. cuz 50,000 ROUGHLY speaking individuals worked there, almost the same amount of visitors too .. ..

btw, WHOEVER programmed this, is a REALLLL professional .. ..

cuz take a look:

1. plane crashes into NOT america's, but world's ONE of the BUSIEST "business/economy operations center" ..

2. WITHIN 18 minutes, second one crashes, position was DEAD PERFECT and its CLEAR that their aimings were PERFECT!..

3. NOT important fact, BUT, the part of the Pentagon building that is burned due to the third plane/helicopter crash, IS the "controlling portion" for "international LOGISTICS business management"...

so here is a comment generated by my class-fellow Kavi: "United States is now in REALLY _______ condition, as two of its main international business control centers are destroyed, half city terrified, 80% buildings/businesses shutted down, military-related INTERNATIONAL level center also threatened.. ONLY thing they lack now is an attack on silicon valley AND they are doomed like they never eXisted"...

Even with Confused's wishful thinking on demise of America, here are some thoughts from a New Yorker.

We will rebuild and continue. The financial system will go on. Stock Markets will open tomorrow, the companies housed in the Trade center will reopen somewhere else. WE WILL NOT SURRENDER TO THIS BRAND OF COWARDICE.

I salute our mayor, I salute the citizens of this, the greatest city in the world. The lines for the bloood centers are two blocks long, and ever growing. There is a sense of resiliency, inherent strength and comraderie among the citizens. We will build even greater towers, we will continue to host the UN General Assembly later this month.

This city houses the best and the brightest from around the world. And it is these citizens that will see to the continuation of New York. God bless the people of NY and God bless America.

I agree with InfoMan...
New Yorkers have shown a great deal of love for each other.

Yara.. yeh jo baathain hai of wishing America's demise.. mujay koyee yeh pathao.. what fault is it of us that live here? All we wanted was a better life.. and people pray for us to die..

On a serious note… everyone in Silicon Valley realized that despite being on the opposite end of this continent, there is a real danger that this symbolism of technological superioirity of United States, San Jose and its neighboring areas which make up the Silicon Valley, may be a target. Every thing closed down and we all evacuated our buildings. Even today we had more stringent new security measures, which meant that each of us had to show an ID to enter our office building, something which was never there before. So, I guess, things changed a lot from yesterday.
