Sindh CM Qaim Ali Shah’s old age irks doctors

KARACHI: The Sindh Doctors Ittehad has decided to move eligibility case against Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah in the Sindh High Court (SHC). Dr Muhammad Ali Thalo, Chairman Sindh Doctors Ittehad, while addressing a press conference at the Karachi Press Club here on Monday said that the degree and education was not only sufficient eligibility for a public representative but his age and health should also be considered and included in the eligibility criteria.
He said that while an ordinary government servant after reaching 60 years age is retired from job and his medical fitness is also a condition to continue job, then those leaders who decide the future of the nation should also be in good health and good shape to perform their duties in befitting manner.
Dr Thalo said Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who has now reached the age of 80, is not above the law of nature. Praying for his long age and health, Dr Thalo said Syed Qaim Shah now needs complete rest so he should retire from politics as well as chief ministership.
The leader of the Sindh doctors said they will send their complaint application in this regard in the SHC with all medical references and will ask the court to constitute a medical board for the complete medical check-up of Qaim Ali Shah and during this period bar the chief minister from performing his duties. Dr Thalo said that they will also appeal to the court to set age limit for the public representatives. He expressed disappointment that during the last two-and-half years rule of the present provincial government, they wrote more than 300 times to the chief minister for the solution of doctors’ problems but nothing was done in this connection.

question is why he's now raising this "punjab pani nahi deta" issue when he knows that its punjab who's generously giving away its part to sindh most of the time, plus, its sindh and KP who are against dams, plus this particular disaster is not created by punjab but its natural and increased manifolds due to not having sufficient water storage and control facilities
i dont think age is an issue here… nawabzada nasrulla khan was almost same or little more age i guess, and he was quite a politician

Well not only him but all the senior policiticans of Sindh including Rasool Buksh Paleejo has been accusing Punjab of not giving Sindh's right share of water.
