LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has said that he has asked for the resignation of the provincial law minister Rana Sanaullah, DawnNews reported.
Speaking at a press conference in Lahore, the chief minister said that even though Sanaullah has performed his duties in an honest manner for 15 years, he has asked him to resign for the sake of justice.
Shahbaz Sharif also said that he has asked for the resignation of Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Punjab Dr Tauqir Shah.
The announcement comes over the outrage against a police crackdown on workers of the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) in Lahore on Tuesday in which nine people lost their lives.*
**If what ML says is true in the video, according to Pakistani and international laws both bratheran should be charged with first degree murders and tried in courts accordingly. If it is proved to be false, a civil suit against ML/ARY for defaming CM of Punjab is very much justified.
Long time ago when I was posted at Moghalpura Lahore, the present PM, then CM of Punjab during Zia-ul-Haq time, was doing exactly the same acts as his younger brother is now doing. I still remember wailing of a father whose 17 years young son was killed in so called 'police muqabila'. He said that his son had some notorious friends who were involved in robberies and petty thefts.
One thing I don't understand that Sharif bratheran have heavy mendate in Punjab, why they have to resort to dictator type actions. There is something fishy. It does not make any sense at all.**
**
Perhaps supporters of PML(N) should come forward and say something in defense of their leaders.
This whole episode a stupid retard like TUQ became famous and a new life to his Puke Awami Teharik and the losers wre NS, SS and PML(N) in general.**
Shameful, so many people died and instead of accepting the blame he fires other people to save his own skin. Does he think people are blind and will not know on whose orders these killings took place. Pathetic murderer.
Sacrificing a small fry to protect the big fish..nothing else. Even that resignation had to be asked of him, rather than any of them having the self respect to resign on their own.
During Shahbaz sharifs first term there were countless police ‘muqabalas’ which seem to be ordered by some one in the top echelons. after the collapse of the government the numbers dropped down dramatically.
I don't know if I should feeling pity for the police valas or not because I heard jin ne firing ki un ko police valo ko arrest karnay ka hukm dya ha :(
