Cluttered mind needs clearing up

Hi guys, I’ve got a bit of a problem. I’ve been multitasking several activities for a long time but recently my mind is getting cluttered up very quickly which inhibits my ability to get things done. Its not a major problem and I do write things to do down but my mind still remains messy and not very logical.

A friend said that it depends on the person, some people’s minds think structured naturally and others think on a random basis. Both are effective in their own ways. Do you think this may be the reason or do I need to unclutter my mind in some way? Stimulants help but its not good to have too much.

Help please guys

Would this be your mind or your time?

more like my mind, too many things swimming around in my head, can't distinguish between the useless stuff and the important stuff. Does anyone know what I'm talking about? Please share :)

Perhaps.Actually I dont wish to go into details about how messed up my head is at the moment.:(

I guess you have to sit down one day and think thoroughly about everything thats on your mind.If you dont do that ,you'll just end up stressed out - not very healthy.

yeah i know what you're talking about. keep yourself organized. make lists. write everything down. don't trust yourself to remember much, unless if its written down.

uh, give up a few things in your life - make it simpler. if there are too many things going on, you're going to experience overload.

IMHO, of course.

I've never ever made lists..but I always take 10 mins every morning to think things through...even lacing in what TV programs I have to watch :D...I'm a thinker..andwhat is imp to you may not sound so imp to someone else...so make sure you get your priorities straight and don't go by whats imp to everyone else.

remember the time management rules?
unimportant urgent
important urgent
important but not urgent
etc etc....

try those..
hope that helps..

hmmm some interesting advice here guys thanks a lot. I think its also because of my room which is the size of a queen size bed. I'm moving to the living room from now on.

Sounds like stress. Stop stressing.
Don't do too many things simultaneously, some people
can't take the burden you might be one of them. Take
a vacation, if that's not an option then try exercising regularly,
sometimes lack of oxygen to your brain can mess you up too.
If you already do work out, and feel that the problem is on
a neurological level in need of a practitioner's consultation, then
set up an appointment with a neurologist. Most of the time, they
give out CT scans because most neurologists can't function
without one :D and it costs a bit, so be prepared for that as well.
They might give you something for anxiety to calm you down.
Stuff like Imipramine which treats about a decent majority.
On the scarier side, they might give you a beta blocker
if they feel that it's interfering too much with your daily life
or places you at a risk for heart disease. A beta blocker would be
something like atenolol. Either way try alternative stuff first
before you plunge into pills and what not.
