We Muslims believe on splitting of the moon as a miracle by the Prophet :saw: by the will of Allah. There is no doubt about it.
I do not know if this picture is true or not, but could somebody verify this.

Looks fake to me.
I'd just like to say one thing never take photgraphic evidence to seriously now unless you know the source. Photshop is an amazing piece of software. Not that I'm saying this pic is fake or anything.
Even if this picture isn't a fake, it still doesn't prove anything. The moon is filled with craters and cracks. Not that im saying that i dont believe in that event happening.... its just that i think no photo can prove it.

Being a muslim we know splitting of the moon happned so we dont any graphical prove for it, ppl who dont believe on it should carry on there research and pray they believe on it in there life time.

Is the grand canyon evidence of the Earth splitting? It doesn't work like that! Go search plate tectonics then planetary accretion on the web.
It was documented in the journal of a famous indian king, who at the time saw the splitting.
Also reports released by nasa either 1997 issue i think, or 1999, stated that there were huge cracks in the middle of the moon, which could mean that the moon was formed by 2 different rocks combining together to form one moon rock.
However, those cracks for muslims can mean something else :)
well, where did you find the picture?

came in the email, and I have asked the sender about its link....As soon as i get it, it will be there.
This "crack" that you have posted here is so cosmetic that it can't even be a foot deep. If there is some evidence of the moon splitting, which i doubt there is, we wont be able to find it with some photographic evidence.
i dont think thse pictures increase the iman of any one, because we believe in the unseen of allah and his angels and his paradise and his hell, so who cares if the evidence is present for moon spliting or not? if we can blindly believe (blind believe is good in allah) in allah wiht out any tangible proof then we dont need proof to believe that allah has power over every thing and can split the moon or any other thing he pleases.
picture or no picture, wakanallah o ala kullay shai-inn muqtadira.
allah have power over every thing.
