I don’t think they are real, how do you know they are “authentic” putting the word authentic with something doesn’t make it authentic.

well, as far as im aware, Turkish museums do carry a lot of authentic Islamic treasures like these....some of the oldest copies of the Holy Quran are known to be there...
u cant simply label something as a fraud without any definate proof... I mean, what if they arent?

They are proven to exist and protected throughout history. Even the hair of the Prophet, there are many and Muslims seek barakah by them, as mentioned in Sahih Al-Bukhary Prophet Muhammad distributed his hair upon the Sahabah i.e. that is to get barakah from it. Anyways Allah knows best.

but i won't argue whether these are authentic or not!..just 4 the sake of respect..bcoz i dunno much myself..so whtz the need to argue..when my knowledge is ZERO..under such circumstancez any person can comeup with false proofz..as v all know everything is possible 2day!..
so in my view askin the authenticity of such thingz is not necessary..if u don't think these are real then say nothing at all..just show some respect..and do ur research..
these are in some musem and i don't think these are there without any reason..they much have done some research themselvez b4 putting these there!...

Hazrat Muhammad(PBUH).I agree with Qr21 that what if they are real.There are so many things that we should care about before talkin anything about Holy Prophet.We are not the higher authorities to say it ain't real.I hope all U people can understand what I meant.Just a good advise!

Would the prophet Muhammad (SAW) not have given the hair to the people as proof that he existed...
considering that these days there are people who dispute the existence of Hazrat Isa (or Jesus)... i would have belief in that.
and if there is any dispute of their authenticity... then why don't we compare samples of hair from all around the world to make sure that they are from the same source.. science has advanced to this level.
The argument about dishonouring the samples does not come in... as if they are not authentic.. then it would have been a lie and there would not have been any so called 'tabarruk' anyways (if you so believe).
and in islam we are comanded to find the truth.
