clothes in a suitcase

So…in the event your clothes hang out in a suitcase for a long period of time, they get kinda smelly and even damp sometimes. So I know you gotta put in moth balls.

However, if your stuff is in the suitcase for like a month, do you think you need mothballs for that? Cuz it takes time for the smell to wear off.

Can you use anything else that wont stain your clothes with any characteristic smells. I gotta keep work clothes in a suitcase for a month, and now I’m beginning to wonder if that was a good idea…

After never seeing a moth in my bedroom I've seen 3 in the last 3 days so am getting some Rentokil paper strips that u hang in ur wardrobe.. think u can prob use them in ur suitcase as well..

Re: clothes in a suitcase

I didn't think mothballs had anything to do with moths...

How would a moth get into a closed suitcase?

Re: clothes in a suitcase

No PCG they wont get smelly...I have my cloths in suitecase for more than 5 years... They are still same...

Course.. sorry I've got moths on the brain due to my own little problem :(

You can use laundry drying sheets- whenever I pack to go somewhere, I always throw some in with my clothes, they come out smelling like spring rain showers!
