Clothes I wear

I have learned to hear my music (not listen to it) & enjoy the beat no matter how abhorrent the lyrics may be, but some of the lyrics make no sense at all. Often I find lyrics in some songs from pop/rap bands that they wear their own clothes or they have clothes or offer others to wear their clothes.

Is there a deeper meaning that I missing here or are they grasping for words that rhyme?
