Hey guys! Quick question. Is it just me or are clothes in Pakistan so frikkin expensive??!?!? ahhh. Currently live in the USA and my mom is making me clothes to wear after my wedding for dawats and all that good stuff. A decent suit in Pakistan which is a bit embroided chiffon is like 700$. I find that ridiculous. This dressed that I have attached is by mina hasan and it’s for 95000 rupees. What do you guys think? can anyone suggest affordable clothing like this that I can find In pakistan. I plan to buy at least 15-20 really nice formal dresses for dawats and all that good stuff. I dont have many Pakistani clothes. So will have to buy plenty

Go to local boutiques instead of designers. Thy can make really nice and heavy clothes too for a much more reasonable price.

Since I am in the USA I can have a family member do that for me. Thank you. But would you happen to know if I show them a design, such as this one. Will they be able to recreate a similar one? Also what would be a reasonable price for a dress like this anyways

I have given outfits to be copied. I'm always disappointed in the end... They end up nice, but never exactly like the original. So you can get them copied but don't expect a super perfect replica. But that's just been my experience. And I'm not sure on the prices but from the boutique I go to in Islamabad I got a suit for my cousin's wedding which was fairly heavy for $300. They won't go anywhere near $950 though no matter where you go unless it's designer. Try Lebas for replicas though. I did get a replica made from them and I really liked it, just remembered:p good luck!

You can find some great designs in pure fabrics at reasonable prices by going to in-house designers instead of known designers that charge exuberant prices.

These are designer prices you are quoting. There are clothes in all ranges starting from $50 for a formal dress right up to thousands of dollars, just like in the U.S. You can get something nice for about a $100,.
