As a fan of all Martial arts Kallapataryu is India’s most famous art and Bohidarma took it to China. So in defence of my Indian friends they are very original and had Allah willed it i migh have been a Kashatriya sometime too.
But Gatka, Banought and the fabled Lathi charge are all Indian Martial arts too…
To be honest India is not as famous as China or Japan but on a technicall level some of it’s fighting arts are first class. 
That said as a Muslim Faris I have great respect for my Indian counterparts… however as they will tell you I need not go into the details of Muslim arts for ours are even more coulorfull and on sword fighting we surpass the Indians Thank Allah.
That said Indian arts are very fluent and smooth techniques that require high level fitness and flexibility thier not all Yogis you know… 
Do we have any Indian martial artists on GS?
As a Pakistani i have experienced the best and worst of Indian arts and as a result I respect true martial artists everywhere.
