So those of you with tiny closets and rooms, how do you manage? I have a closet about 1.5 m wide and maybe 0.5-0.75 m deep. In it i need to keep my shoes/bags/purses/underthings/school clothes/desi clothes. I do also have a dresser but I would love any tips that you guys have to offer in storing lots of stuff in small places and still be able to find it!

I'm living with my parents at the moment, so I have a pretty small room, I store all my party desi wear, or just desi clothes that have a lot of kaam on them, or desi clothes I've desigened and gotten made in plastic boxes.
I also store all clutch bags in those boxes, you won't believe how much space they take up in the closet, plus your desi clothes stay safe and dust free this way, I'll post a picture of those plastic boxes later :)
you could also buy those plastic box things that you just roll under your bed?

Got them in different sizes. Abt 6 boxes (2 big-2medium-2small) in less than 20£

but isnt it a hassle getting the party wear out? I guess fpor really heavy and unstitched items it would work fab though. So what gets put in the dresser? Csual desi clothes? Only my western clothes actually need to be hung so i have access to them quickly everyday. Also where do you guys store your shoes like highheels or boots that may get seasonal or rare wear?
I ran out of closet space as well. My solution - have a new closet built 
I was really lucky in that I had the space in my room which allowed a new closet to be built - so I had one put in with two shelves One on the top and one on the bottom, a clothes rod and mirrored doors put in. I love it 
I sorted my clothes and shoes between the two closets. All of my shoes are on the bottom shelf of closet 1 and so are all of my desi casual clothes. My work/western wear is in the second closet and my purses and handbags are also in the second closet. I’ve got my suitcases that have seasonal clothes under the lower shelf - so that saves space as well.

Try a shoe hanger for shoes. Also put the party wear shoes in plastic bags before putting them in the hanger, so they dont catch dust.
