Are rapes low in Pakistan? Perhaps rapes that are actually reported are low that doesn't mean rapes aren't frequent. From my understanding in the tribal areas women are often treated as something to be bartered with and can be victims of gang rapes. Additionally could you clarify if domestic abuse is really a private matter in Pakistan or do authorities get involved in such cases?
