is cloning allowed in islam and if one clones a baby does that cloned baby have a spirit!!! please provide proof from quran like surats and quotes etc.

I searched and searched and searched, but couldn’t find anything on the topic, the only thing I could find was a scholar who said that in islam it’s OK to do Stem Cell research, and he did it with Ahadith and Surah’s…I am talking about 6 7 months ago when I got interested…So here’s the Ijtehaad I came to in the absence of an opinion…It’s OK to clone humans in Islam…Unless a scholar says otherwise…

As far as I understand its not allowed, because lineage is important. We are told that even adopted kids should be called by their father’s name and that is better. What exactly is affected by this.. lots of things. Such as family matters.. issues of inheritence etc.
Since cloning would not give the person an actual ‘father’, infact due to the similarities in DNA structure, that person would actually be your younger twin. Anyhow cloning is a wide field I’m not sure what you meant to ask.
