RAWALPINDI : US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani at Army House Rawalpindi and discussed various issues.
During two and a half hour meeting Clinton discussed with Chief of Army Staff the controversial articles of Kerry-Lugar bill. Clinton praised the active role of Pak Army in war against terror.
They also discussed ongoing operation in Waziristan, security at Pak-Afghan border and security situation in Afghanistan besides Coalition Security Fund.
According to the sources, the Army Chief and US Secretary of State could not reach on any conclusion regarding controversial articles of Kerry-Lugar bill.
Clinton assured General Kayani about provision of military equipment soon.
DG ISI Lieutenant General Shuja Ahmed Pasha were also present in the meeting.

C’mon lady! Get real! You didn’t even know Bill was getting serviced by Lewinsky right under your nose, and you want us to find a needle in a haystack?
If nothing else, her statement shows the frustration Obama Administration is facing back home because Pentagon is casting doubts about Obama’s ability to lead as promised, and inability to issue orders for additional troops (as requested by General McChrystal), while politicians are ready to pounce the minute he does that because it will further hamper the economy which is barely recovering. Obama’s litmus test is much like that of Gorbachov, who was faced with about the same sort of decision that President Obama faces right now regarding Afghanistan, and Taliban.

They're very relevant, and directly related. Pakistan, and its Armed Forces, or its Govt. cannot be blamed for American shortcomings. It is the Nato and US Forces that have to look for, and find OBL within Afghanistan. There is no need to bark up the wrong tree, just because they're unable to deliver.
Frankly, Ms. Hillary is shedding her boss' frustration with her loose-cannon statement because It is not Pakistan Army's job to find OBL. It is for US troops to get out of the cozy womb of a hideout they've created in Kabul. OBL is probably roaming just outside Kabul and laughing it off because he knows Nato and US troops don't control anything outside Kabul, and with the latest blast on UN offices in Kabul, even that's looking doubtful. What makes it worse is that US has recently pulled back troops and is drawing inwards when it should be expanding out and trying to gain control of the rest of the terroritory which is virtually under Taliban control.
So you see, American inability to deliver to the American Public and the World is an American issue, not one that Pakistan needs to be blamed for. Pakistan Army has its own battles to fight, and it is paying in precious blood to terminate the extremists in bordering regions, while Nato and US troops turn a blind eye and let them slip back and forth causing havoc on Pakistani Armed forces and the Pakistani cities at large. Pakistan has time and again opted to mine the border, but Mayor of Kabul and US disagree and do not want that because a scapegoat is very much a necessity of the hour as evident by finger-pointing at Pakistan.
