Half of my friends hate Clinique as they haven’t had a good experience with them. However, i’ve never had any problems with their foundation or anything. I actually like their makeup and it has never lead to any irritations etc.
What are your views on the brand? Like? if yes, why and what products have you tried?
My sister swears by their super fit makeup. It's the only thing that doesn't make her breakout. Elle Fowler (youtube makeup guru) also swears by that foundation. I use Clinique's 123 skin care routine and like it so far. I also have one lipstick by clinique which is super creamy and has a very natural color, which I totally love. I'll share the name when i get home:) (I am bad at remembering cosmetic names)
I am not too familiar with their skin care products but the 1 thing im crazy bout its the Almost lipstick in Black Honey, its just gorgeous, suits any skintone, and you can keep it sheer or add a couple coats for an evening look…
Well I use Clinique religiously lol....I start my day by using the 3-step range. Along with moisturing, I mix in the City Block SPF 40. I've used it everyday since last summer and thre's still plenty left.
I also use Superfit foundation, which is really light and natural looking :)
I have other bits and bobs too...so overall, I've had no problems with Clinque!
The only downside is that the 3-step care seems to run out quickly...I must spend a fortune on them :(
...I personally just love Clinique! Have used their 'even better'makeup on some of the brides I have done makeup for, as feels it gives a gorgeous glow and very good finish too. Also have their Khol eye pencil, which is just megafab-creamy, soft and easy to use, as well as some of their eyeshadows.
Not too sure about the skincare though...have heard from some girls that they have had reactions to the ingrdients used in the creams etc.
I love their lipsticks! They are super smooth, nicely pigmented, and come in great colours. I'm not a fan of their skin care products - I have tried the 3 step skin care routine and it didn't do anything amazing to my skin.
I don't have any issues with Clinique, but I prefer other brands for makeup + skincare.
I hv tried clinque dermalogical gel as my skin is combination in summer. and its good. wanna know abut kohl pencil. is it give fine and neat look or no. I wanna light , thin and neat line of kajal in my eyes. that don't smudge. any suggestion?
I love the 3-step system, I don't use it everyday anymore but if I suddenly break out I do go back to it.. A lot of ppl find the toner (I use no.3) too drying but for me it's perfect..
Did use the foundations when I was younger (the oil free one) and they were ok but the makeup doesn't really interest me anymore.. So much more choice out there now makeup-wise than there was when I was 16/17..
I used their 3 step system sometime before my wedding (i got them to give me samples of everything :D) and it worked well on me....but never got anything after that
recently bought Black Honey, its supposed to be flattering every skin tone, its not a color I normally wear (i stick to pinks and berries) but i love it
I use their moisturizer and acne soap I like it, My skin is really oily and I have used almost all face washes from Body shop to olay to neutrogena etc but i was never satisfied but this works for me...the moisturizer doesn't make my skin oily/greasy how others did for some reason and the soap to makes the oil/shine go away without over drying...however it doesn't really work that fast on acne..but it does work. i also have their shimmer (for the eye and cheek) and i like those as well...its pretty good for normal day use i guess...
I always wanted to try out the 3step thing but heard mixed reviews about it and i feel clinique is more for oily and sensetive skin than dry skin…im confused whether i shud give it a try or not..
^They're usually quite generous when it comes to giving free samples.. Just go to a counter and tell them you'd like to try the 3-step to see if it suits your skin and they should give some mini versions :)
