Re: Clever parenting

From what I've read in the Quran, you should name your child with a name that has a good meaning. Thats what we looked for while we chose names that would also fit within the US without too much fuss. I mean, if you name a child "Osama" over here well guess what? He's coming home all beat up. Anyway, as long as the name has a good meaning, everythings ok.

dhobi bhai: thanxs 4 making me laugh 2day...oh and their beautiful names btw...how long did it take u to think of them?

Re: Clever parenting

Are you looking for some suggestions… i mean what for…

Re: Clever parenting

if my mom had her way, she would love to name my brother's future kids (especially if they were twins) - one Saddam and one Osama...lol....

I personally dont like the idea of giving my child a islamic-western name...i would want my child to be proud of their hertige/culture/religion instead of naming then a western-ish name where it will be distorted...(this is to the fact that i hate my name...lol..) but i woudl name my child a name that is easy to prounounce here in the west (cuz trust me, ive been called everything..and i hate correcting these pple....)....

Re: Clever parenting
