clever heads living overseas...

whats interesting to know is that oversea countries have no time for family and happiness, its only work, home ,sleep, work home and sleep.dayin day out ,now look at pakistan for an example ppl go to work and in the evenings get together eat together ,read salaat ,spend time with there kids and there is so much love ,religion and respect.which you can not experience anywhere else in the world, because this is not only my experience but a dozen of children born in non islamic countries and so called developed countries, its amazing to be a part of an islamic culture because Allah is remembered…

I agree with everything except 'Allah is remembered'

Re: clever heads living overseas...

Not true.We have regular family gatherings. Not just 1 family but entire khandaan gathering together atleast once in a month. Many a times its more than that.Chacha's , khala's , cousins stopping over for sometime regularly...and ofcourse everyone prays 5 times .All this as well as work , eat and sleep.
So what you said isn't completely true
You simply generalized.
Every family has different ways of doing things.

Little Princess, who says Saudi Arabia is a foreign country, it’s like our second home :hugz:

What Siddiqa is referring to are the Pakistanis living in western countries.

The term ‘clever heads’ makes sense keeping in view the way these people look down upon those living in Pakistan and forget their own roots.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

But Saudi Arabia is my ONLY home.
Every individual is different.I'm sure not everyone looks down upon pakistani's living in pakistan.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

I live in USA, and while I have seen a handful of people that may have lost family values ....I am surprised. I have extended family here and we regularly make time for each other. My family itself, we always eat together...we do pray.....etc etc...and spend tond of time together and still work etc. I am not sure what oversea country you live in and what company you keep....

Really? That’s funny. Because I’m pretty sure the locals don’t consider you guys as members of the “family”. Rather unwanted guests that are of some use.

To the OP: I guess you’re speaking from experience. No one giving you enough time in South Africa? Not enough family time? It’s highly rude of you to imply in a sarcastic tone that everyone who has decided to go to other countries as “clever heads”. Please stop generalizing. If one wants to remember Allah, they will do it even where there aren’t any humans found. I have no idea where you are getting your facts from, because if things are going to be screwed up, if people want to forget their families, they’re going to be messed up anywhere, doesn’t matter if they decided to stay in their beloved country or move elsewhere. Or would you rather have family suicides committed because things don’t exactly turn out the way you want them to? Is that quality family time in your opinion?

you are generalizing here too.
I have met some pretty awesome locals.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

There are some who are good. But majority feel that way. If they didn't why wouldn't the Arab countries offer citizenship like the rest of the world? Why would they make someone jump through a lot of hoops just to be called something? If you consider a place to be your home, that is different than what someone else considers you to be.

I agree and siddiqa was talking about majority in her 1st post too.

niceusman i never got to complete my comp died off...i mean that people greet each other in the full asalaam u laykum ,and not salaam, the man say mosque instead of masjid and the jealousy is smelt all over because of the competition (nice cars lavish homes and beautiful nake type clothing..... so in pakistan allah is remembered in the true sence if im wrong pls correct me.

and im not refering to those who lead normal happy lifes im referring to the unfort. like myself...

delusional much

Totally disagree here.Jealousy is everywhere EVEN in Pakistan.People do :salam: wherever they want to.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

I dont think a specific country or region is required to remember 'Allah'. It does make it easier for muslims to remember Allah in muslim countries as you get to hear the azan more often than not. But still to remember 'Allah', it depends more on the personal choice of a muslim believer if he wants to remember Allah or waste time clubbing or watching bollysh!t (which is what most of Pakistani nation's passtime is incase you did not know that).

So, it is quite retarded to think that you need to live in Pakistan or any specific country to remember 'Allah'.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

We wouldn't have so many problems in Pakistan if 'Allah was remembered' here.

Re: clever heads living overseas...

Pakistani kids living abroad are better aware of their islamic culture than those living in Pakistan. Bcoz in Pakistan they rarely think about it, but abroad teh families are concerned in taking care of and keeping alive their culture.
