Clear lip liner

… to avoid dark/bright shade lipsticks bleeding. Any other tips?

Please recommend which brands you found useful?

Which one is better; clear vs nude (matching to skin tone)?

Re: Clear lip liner

To stop it bleeding make sure your lips are exfoliated and moisturised with lip balm before applying lipstick. Also before applying lipstick dust your lips with powder(compact or loose that's up to you) Personally nude lip liner is better, never heard of or used clear lip liner so can't say much about that. Brands that I use are local ones from Pakistan I find the quality sooo good, I've got a bunch of lip liners from the brand 'Davis'. Otherwise more well known affordable brands for lip liners are rimmel, essence and nyx.

Re: Clear lip liner

I use urban decay ozone. Clear is better because nude might mess with lipstick colour.

Re: Clear lip liner

I have few lipsticks and i can not find matching colour lipliner for them....especially my favourite Revlon -pink velvet. anyother shade even closer changes the colour of lipstick.

I have tried Loreal's clear lip liner that i often use...but i hate it. it gives feeling of plastic on my lips..

its good liner but i just hate the feeling after applying it.

Re: Clear lip liner

I swear by the MUFE clear lip liner. I wear red lipstick a lot and it's a game-changer. Nothing feathers.

Re: Clear lip liner

I don't like applying it. I have the urban decay liner that came in a holiday set. Not impressed.

Re: Clear lip liner

yeah I heard the UD one leaves a waxy residue. I haven't had complaints like that with the MUFE one

Re: Clear lip liner

I've had the same waxy residue problem with the no-bleed clear stuff.
Recently I picked up some MUFE liners that I'm really enjoying so maybe I'll give their clear one a try.....

Re: Clear lip liner

clear (light pink) is better than nude (pink)! :snooty:
