Blimey! As an ex Englishman, you’ve certainly ‘cracked’ the American lingo very well, ol’ chap! One is amused! ![]()
Okay, I admit, some of the things that you mentioned are easy to do. I particularly like the idea of getting rubber mats which would be easy to rinse and dry. And I absolutely love yankee candles, I have them in my bedroom and kitchen!!! Why didn’t I think of getting it for the car?
I notice that they also do proper car fresheners, so I’m definitely giving those a try!!
Re: Cleaning your car
Do neutral fragrances exist? I hate cheap sprays that burn my nose.
Re: Cleaning your car
^^ Same here, I don’t want those normal hanging trees or pungent smelling sprays either ! Thats why I’m on a quest to find something which actually lifts the mood instead of giving me headaches and nausea!
Will let you know after I’ve tried the yankee freshener!
Re: Cleaning your car
Whenever we get into the car during snow/ slush everyone is asked to sit in the car with their feet out for a minute and “jharofy” their feet. Works wonders. Also carry plastic bags with you and put trash that accumulates in it and take it out with you each trip. Used to clean the car every week/ then every month but then gave up, now its whenever hubby does it.
