cleaning traditional ovens

I have the following upright cooker.
http://www.sampfordixl.com.au/lagermania/lug03-90-s.html

ieven if nothing spills in the oven when baking; food or residue goes insider the ove door glass. i cant clean it as its inside the inner and outer layer.

i tried to open the screws to see if i can clean but its very fragile once i open (bits and foams in seals).

is there anyone who has same issue and knows how to clean or wat to do with it.
i emailed the company but they havnt replied back yet.
thanks

Re: cleaning traditional ovens

Actually when you said it goes inside door glass then it means there is some failure in making and sealing the double layer glass door.

There should be nothing that should ever go in between them and these two glass are sealed with rubber or some with rubber and steel framing just around the border of glass.

I have not much of idea how to clean the places between two glasses unless you remove one glass from its sealed frame although that may cause damage to the proper re-seating of glass after cleaning it.

If you think that there are few simple screws to remove and clean it then go ahead but if you feel like it is difficult then bear it as it is or ask the company to have a complete fix such problem.

And after that just dont grill a lot in it.. :D
