Sorry if this has been discussed before, but what do you people use to clean the microwave from inside?
I dont use any abrasive chemicals because they can’t be rinsed out. I use vinegar but it does not do the job well enough for my liking.
Any ideas how to get it all chamakta dhamakta please?
what Br. Mirch said is perfect plus i think you may tak the revolving glass tray out and washed in the kitchen sink :) you just got a spiffy clean microwave...courtesy to Mirch Bhai and myself! :D
what works for me is taking a bowl of water and putting slices of lemon in it. and turning the microwave on for 2-3 minutes, all the residue is easily removable and no harsh chemicals used. If something is left behind I just repeat it.
Ok, will the soapy sponge work on a combination microwave??
I have an oven and griller inside it with rods on the back and roof panel, if that makes sense!
And yes the revolving dish gets washed often enough!

actually I do that if there is a strong odour of food inside the microwave and it does work a treat. Smells all lemony...but it doesnt really clean the microwave, does it?
i split a lemon in half and put it in a bowl with some water and put the microwave on for about 4-5 mins - that gets rid of all the odours and leaves a nice smell. Then i clean it with an anti-bacterial wet wipes you get for cleaning surfaces etc...
