how do you clean the inside? I always have such a hard time with it…i hate the greasy feel…what products are good, so that with one swipe it’s CLEAN?

take a bowl of water with a few lemons cut up inside. Place in microwave for 5-6 mins. The lemony steam will help you loosen the spots and just wipe clean with a wet dish cloth.

gulab jamun you can also use vinegar, instead of lemon juice.

^True - vinegar helps get rid of the food smell too

what about smells in the microwave...I always heat food covered so as to avoid splatters...so clean up is not an issue....
But for example when I make popcorn in there the microwave smells of it for a 1 0r 2 days...and I hate it...:(
What can I do about that...?

i cover everysingle item i put in the microwave...

for smells, everynight, i fill a mug of water, put a tbsp of vinegar, and let it warm up in the micro for 2 mins.

kills the odour

as most mentioned...vingegar or lemon helps...

but in the future use a cover when heating food in the microwave. this will prevent it from getting dirty in the first place.

sand it down and wipe with butter. and microwave a rose flower on high heat for 20 mins for a pleasant aroma.

^ikr! yeah i never knew that either...i thought people were gonna say 'go buy this product'....that's very interesting. inshallah when i'm done iwth my exams i;m going to try it out. thanks you all. Even my mom didn't know that! i was telling her about it today!

Yes Gulab Jamun, lemon and vinegar.Or either one of them are really effective. Especially because they get rid of the odour as well, and they aren't chemicals. I believe that one should use simple totkas whenever possible, instead of buying some dicey product from the market.
