My routine’s a little different. I take a small container, fill it with lukewarm water, mix in shampoo or body wash and add the brush. I swirl it around in the mixture to cleanse it thoroughly and usually leave the brush in there for 15 minutes or so. Then I dry it, and it’s ready to use again!

Uh, i dont know if that is a good idea. Not only can you damage the handle by leaving it in water for prolonged amount of time, you can damage the ferule and most importantly damage the glue that holds the bristles together. And you shouldn’t use warm water, even lukewarm unless it’s synthetic which can handle a bit more. Always use slightly cool water because you can dry out the natural-haired bristles.
