Pakistani girls clean swept the Table tenis competition in the Islamic games held in Iran. Ghazala Roohi ( Pak. No.1) had triple crown.
I think in such bad condition it is really an achievm. for Pakistan.

A Rejected one
good for ghazala, she always had the potential. if we have better coaches and all she may do even better.
Pakistan has produced some oretty good table tennis players even with the lack of support and facilities in general.
Farjad and Azhar are among those.

Love is Life..
Yes I meant Azhar Sheikh. Him and Atta Abbass were two of the rising stars in the juniors scene in the late 80's. I have not seen either of those guys since then but I know azhar had made it to the national team.
We used to be in training camps together at the National Coaching Center as well as Islamia Club in karachi back then.

check your PM. I did not know azhar and atta that well since they were in karachi board colleges and I was in a fed board college. aside from friendlies I only ran into them at a few tourneys, Islamia one being one of the last ones. I did run into these guys much more later when I was trained by nakhuda at NCC and farjad at islamia. arif khan used to be around those days too but he was a jerk. there was this other guy in the national team who I practices with at NCCall the time but I cant recall his name.
