RAWALPINDI - The search for a safest National Assembly constituency for Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has taken momentum after the abrupt change in the general elections schedule announced by President Gen Pervez Musharraf.

**The sources said that **this time Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz would likely contest elections from DG Khan as Farooq Ahmad Khan Leghari offered him to contest from his hometown and he had accepted the offer.
**Though, it is not certain yet that he would contest either from NA-172 or NA-173 constituencies of DG Khan, the stronghold of the Legharis.
Another constituency he is expected to contest from was the same NA-229 Tharparker, which Arbab Zakaullah, brother of Sindh Chief Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, had vacated for Prime Minister Shoukat Aziz.
The sources further disclosed that Shaukat Aziz would not be able to reclaim NA-59, Attock, where from Shaukat Aziz got himself elected, when it was vacated by Eman Wasim, daughter of District Nazim Attock Major (Retd) Tahir Sadiq, for his election. According to them, PML (Q) President Ch Shujaat Hussain is likely contest elections from this constituency also.
They also disclosed that ruling party did not expect the announcement of the elections schedule so early, as reportedly it had informed Gen Pervez Musharraf that it was not prepared to fight right now and asked him to delay the elections for at least six months.
