Re: Classes/Categories

yes.

Re: Classes/Categories

I think the problems that occur after marriage, where appearence is the issue, are intiated my men.

Guys marry based on looks; Gals marry based on money. If the girl is pretty, the guy is all over her. If the guy has high paying job; the girl gets excited. Neither one of the reasons are rite but we don't live in a perfect world. Materialistic things are our achilles heal.

Re: Classes/Categories

Even Allah said He will judge on the day of Judgement..

who the heck on earth are we to pass comments on our fellow beings like that...

what bothers me is this if it was up to the girl she could have made herself prettier then ashwariya rai. or she could have gotten more color on her skin.

Re: Classes/Categories

girls mary based on money>??? thats a news for me
maybe in the last century but not anymore

Re: Classes/Categories

So caucasians are hot and black south indians are ugly? And nice to see Mywish who says looks dont matter chiming in saying, "worst ones get the best deals"

Hopefully, mywish ignored the looks part and said it based on him being a gentleman and her being a philistine.

Re: Classes/Categories

Dope she wasn't attractive by any means to almost all males, perhaps except for her husband. I mean no disrespect for her based upon her looks, i was just talking bout wierd couples.

Re: Classes/Categories

as long as they are happy, i don't see any problem

Re: Classes/Categories

^ Neither do i.

Re: Classes/Categories

Dear, I stand by what I say . Looks don't matter.

And when I said that the worst ones get the best deals it meant something totally different, for which you would have to read my journal but unfortunately its private.

As for being philistine. I am a recent convert. But probablym you meant the people of Philistina (coz I said looks don't matter and that's ancient thinking).

Re: Classes/Categories

what is average, sabove average and beautifull?
the people i found beautifull are not those my freind A finds pretty and are not those the other friend B finds pretty…
there are no standards in beauty, apart from television standards.
are good muslims supposed to judge their future wife/husband prettiness based on the standards of american people?

Re: Classes/Categories

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and thats where it should stay. When one falls in love, that person doesnt see any of their love's flaws just their qualities that made them fall in love, regardless if the other person is average, above average or beautiful. I have seen some girls who were not very attractive, but after finding their significant others and spending years with each other, the girls look completly different. Some women find their beauty when they are young, others at later stages in life. If just for gawking purposes, then yes there are these 3 classes, but true beauty isnt recognized by everyone and thats what matters in the long run.
And BTW only in arranged marriages do the girls family look at the wealth of the guy she is going to get married. If girls do that out of choice they are known as gold diggers, and thats not very common.

Re: Classes/Categories

thats what u would like to think .. its very common here. really. :o

Re: Classes/Categories

I apologize for the misunderstanding.

No, i meant the black south indian woman without manners was the philistine: a rustic and uncouth boor.

I didnt call you a philstine. Anyways, congrats on being a revert and one of the luckiest persons on earth. Allah (swt), indeed, gave a merciful glance at you. Some of us spend a lifetime hoping to get that kind of attention from Him.

I wish you would let me read your journals. I like saucy details and gossips.

Re: Classes/Categories

^lol. when I mentioned being a convert, I meant I am a a philistine now. Big Evil Smile. Smooch.
