That's a shame. I used to think my faith was strong and invincible until I started studying things outside of my comfort zone. How otherwise would I know if my faith was strong or weak, right or wrong if I limited my studies to just one field? Out of fear? That's not knowledge or strength - it's following blindly.
Sure it was scary, but looking back it would have been a lot scarier because I wouldn't have the knowledge from which the strength comes. What good is a strong faith when it isn't bsaed on knowledge? It’s what you learn after you know it all that really counts.
