I've been watching the fawad fans going crazy trying to justify why humaima = bad and fawad =good. The hypocrisy is fierce in the fangirls. But you know what this kind of behaviour is world over. People are desperate to get girls naked, willing to pay good bucks and then have the gall to look down upon them. What is the logic, I don't know. There would be no supply without demand.
Just like in Azadi March traditional bhangra and khattak dance were performed by group of men, but all the hoo haa was created and is still being created over women waving their hands on national songs. Some low lives even went as far as calling them 'mujra dancers'. Pathetic.
mard ho yaa aurat, jo buraa hai so buraa hai...jo aurtoN ke Khilaaf jumle kaste haiN aur mardoN ke Haq meN ta'reefii jumle adaa karte haiN vo dar asl 'zoo-mey'aar-e-iKhlaaqiyaat' [dual morality standards] jaise samaajii, iKjlaaqii aur mazhabii gunaah ke murtakib haiN.

Basically, they don't know the tradition of Mujra. Mujra was a cultural activity and a tawaif was academy for 'tehzeeb'. Anyways, when it comes to politics, there are no etiquette (at least to the extent of Pakistani politics).

I think jumle to dono genders pe kasse jate hain, but fatwe sirf aurat ke khliaaf main aate hain

That's an amusing paradox. Calling woman a courtesan in the times where brothels were considered so called academy of tehzeeb was the worst insult you could hurl at her, even today, this remains true.
Tawaif in those days was basically a prostitute who had to act like a lady in front of clients belonging to royal and aristocratic class to please their egos. No respectability, cultural or otherwise is associated with this term or was ever associated. It's an extremely lewd and misogynistic term, especially in the context it is used today. Those who liberally throw around this word are simply pathetic.

I neither support use of tawaif for working ladies nor for those who attend political gathering. My point was word 'Mujra' got negative connotations with the passage of time.

That's a misleading statement. Mujra, i.e, dancing in front of men for money in a brothel, and consequently sleeping with the highest bidder was always considered a huge taboo in all cultures.
However, the dancing was a lot more artistic and sophisticated back in those days.

Though its not the topic here, but not all dancing girls were destined to have sex with the higher bidder in start. There were categories of tawaif. from 'dera darniyan' to 'sex workers'. Urdu's earliest novel 'Umrao Jaan' is about a dera darni. Though, every form of tawaif was not acceptable in those days as well. People could accept a man and forgive his visits to red light area, but the ladies in that market have always been unacceptable.
so when Veena Malika and Meera were being trialed in our media, why this blogger kept silence?
This is very much in Pakistani media as well. In Pakistan, there are so many males who are otherwise popular for their affairs, but ladies are the easy target. Like, everyone talks about ‘Madam rani’ or ‘Tarana’, but Yahya Khan haven’t got the due share in badnaami. Or put in simple words, ‘badnaam mard qabil e qabool hai, badnaam aurat nahin’.
